Overdosed  05/01/01 Overdosed releases its first album "My Insignificance"
 
 Overdosed is a solo project by Kinetique/Mike Kanavel and is a totally different project from previous ones from Kinetique. Kinetique started in the late 90s experimenting with techno/electronic and machines for making the music. He was instantly hooked. In 1999 He produced his first unreleased project "Kinetique Energy" and never got it out. Later in late 2000 He produced His most to date project releasing it in april 2k1 "The Distorted World" Getting out of the "techno trend" Kinetique started getting back his roots in punk rock and alternative music. He then formed a solo project "OVERDOSED" and started recording guitar riffs and vocals. Loving it and realising that he wanted his own sound, he started using drum machines and played guitar over precision beats. This worked out great. He wrote a handfull of songs and lyrics. Wrote some drum beats and basslines, clashed them together, now you get "My Insignificance" from Overdosed. The first project recorded by Kinetique/Mike Kanavel of this type. It is a great album. For Live shows, Overdosed uses: Tony Ripple-Guitar/Vocals Tim Metcalf-Drums Mike Kanavel-Guitar/Vocals/bass manipulation. Overdosed is still in the process of recording new material and experimenting, playing live shows and updating their sound
